Omniu documentation

Omniu is an agentic productivity tool and anonymized social media application that uses thought experiments related to timelines, free will and parallel realities to organize and inspire people to find success pursuing their personal goals.

You set goals, break each into milestones and tasks, and track what you do. You can manage everything yourself in the app at omniu.me, or connect an AI agent such as Claude or ChatGPT and let it plan and update your goals for you.

Omniu is built to help people and the community around them grow. Its ideas about timelines, free will and parallel lives are thought experiments, not judgments. If any of it ever feels discouraging, take a break; there's no pressure here.

How it works

Goals
Something you want to achieve, filed under one of 16 categories (fitness, money, coding and so on). In the app, each goal appears as a future version of you who has already reached it serving as your guide toward success.
Milestones
The steps toward a goal, in order. The first milestone you haven't concluded is the current one. When concluding a goal, you can write a note reflect on the achievement and optionally share that note out to other users.
Tasks
The things you complete for the sake of a milestone. A task is done or not done: check it when you've done it.
Your timeline
The dashboard shows you on a line through time. Behind you are your accomplishments: gold for concluded milestones and purple for completed tasks. Click any of them to open your journal, which lists every milestone you've concluded, grouped by goal, with dates. Ahead of you, a line runs to each goal with its milestones and tasks along it.
No deadlines
Goals have no due dates and nothing is ever overdue. When a goal no longer fits, delete it. Deleted and achieved goals stay in your past goals, where you can restore them or remove them for good.
In the future, you've achieved it, I'm here to help you find your own path.your future self

Plan by hand

  1. Open a goal from the dashboard.
  2. Use + under the milestones to add one, and + under a milestone to add a task.
  3. Tap a task's circle to check it; tap again to undo.
  4. Use conclude milestone! when you reach the current milestone, or change milestone to reword it.
  5. The trash button at the bottom of a goal shows delete buttons for the goal, its milestones and its tasks.
You can always edit by hand if you prefer.

Connect an AI agent

Omniu is a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Add it to an AI app that supports MCP, sign in with Google, and approve access. Your agent can then read your goals and plan and update them when you ask, for example "set up milestones".

But I recommend connecting your favorite AI agent. It's free and will have all your context of what comes next.

Plan in a conversation coming soon

A chat with your future self inside Omniu. It asks about your goal, proposes milestones and tasks using the same tools an agent uses, and you accept the ones you want.

Or, we can talk it out and I'll help you put a plan together (coming soon)

Agent tools

An agent can do what you can do in the app, on your goals only. Tools marked confirm end or remove something, so your AI app asks you before using them.

Example requests

  • set up milestones
  • What can I do today?
  • I went for a run, check it off.
  • How am I doing on my marathon goal?
  • Show me everything I've accomplished this month.

Sign-in and access

  • You sign in to Omniu with your Google account.
  • When you connect an AI app, it sends you to omniu.me to sign in and approve access. The approval page shows which app is asking and what it will be able to do: see your goals, milestones and tasks; create, change and delete them; and stay connected without asking again.
  • An agent sees only your data, and only after you approve it.
  • To disconnect an agent, remove Omniu from that app's connector settings.
  • Omniu stores your name and email from Google, and your goals, milestones, tasks, checks and notes.

Social

An anonymized way to see what other people are achieving. Other people appear as alternate versions of you: your face, with their hair, accessory and aura.

  • Open Social from the menu, or with the button at the start of your timeline. It shows a sample of the newest shares.
  • Tap a note to read it and react: you got this! (on goals still in progress), This inspired me! or I like this!
  • To share, open a concluded milestone or an achieved goal from your journal. You give it a title, and can add a note and a link. The page shows a preview of exactly what others will see.
  • Shared items are marked in your journal. You can edit or unshare them at any time.

What others see

  • The title you gave it, its category and the date you shared it. The title stays as you shared it, even if you rename the goal or milestone later.
  • Your note and your link, if you added them.
  • The goal's name, only if you turn on include goal when sharing a milestone.
  • Your style (hair, accessory and aura) and your world ID, only if you turn on publish identity. Without it, you appear in a default style with no world ID.

What is never shared

  • Your name, your email and your Google account.
  • Your tasks and checks, and any goal, milestone or note you haven't shared.
  • Who reacted. You see how many reactions a note has, not who left them.

Alice concludes the milestone "run 5k without stopping" on her goal "run a marathon". From her journal she shares it with the title "ran my first 5k", a note, and include goal on. She leaves publish identity off.

Bob opens Social and sees a version of himself: his own face, in a default style, with no world ID. He taps it and reads "ran my first 5k", the goal "run a marathon", and Alice's note. He never sees her name, her tasks or her other goals.

Her goal is still in progress, so Bob taps you got this! Alice sees one more reaction on her note, but not that it came from Bob.
